She has been sick since last sept. It started out she was tired and sleeping all the time then her stomach started hurting her and nauseated and her face tingling. For a week she didnt eat or drink so they put her in the hospital where she had a calcium spasm ever since her both eyes keep twitching but they said her white blood count and red blood count was low but they couldnt find anything. Shes now having chest pain, heart fluttering, heart going fast sometimes and then slow sometimes, involuntary jerking of both arms and legs, memory loss, dry cough, lost 22 pounds, very pale no appitiate, staring and feels like her eyes are going crossed when she walks feels like she wants to lean to the side. She has been to many doctors the test shes had are ct scan of abdomen, ultra sound, tranvaginal ultra sound, mri of brain and neck, colonoscopy, endoscopy, chest x-ray, ekg, echo of heart, lyme test, lead test, hiv test, tb test, hepatitas test, lupus, thyroid came back as 6.870 high.

Have you explored a psychological reason for your daughter's affliction? Involuntary jerking of arms and legs sounds like it could be a condition such as epilepsy, although I suppose we can rule out lesions if there has been a cranial MRI. Otherwise, you will have to sign up to have Dr. House put you on an episode, he always figures out rare afflictions. Good luck!

I would just go from doctor to doctor. Sounds like a mystery diagnosis. There might just not be a enough for the doctor to put his finger on it. I would get her to write down a list of every single little change and symptom and try another doctor! Good luck.

Poor girl!I have several suspicions, but no way to confirm any of them. She really should be back in the hospital under observation. You might even want to check her into Saint Jude's, since your local practitioners are baffled.I do have one suggestion: Take her off of foods with additives and refined sugar in them, if you can. For a while my mother was feeling sickly, but that cleared up when she changed her way of eating.Good luck!

Could be Bells Palsy. Check this out:Although defined as a mononeuritis (involving only one nerve), patients diagnosed with Bellโ€™s palsy may have "myriad neurological symptoms" including "facial tingling, moderate or severe headache/neck pain, memory problems, balance problems, ipsilateral limb paresthesias, ipsilateral limb weakness, and a sense of clumsiness" that are "unexplained by facial nerve dysfunction".Lots more information about this disorder here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell's_palsy...and all over the web.

Have you taken her to a pediatric neurologist? My gut feeling is that something is going on her brain. Most of her symptoms seem neurological... the involuntary jerking of extremeties, memory loss, and visual disturbances. The feeling of not being balanced is indicative of something wrong with the cerebellum, which is the area involved in balancing and hearing. The jerking is probably a type of seizure called myoclonic seizures. They involve only one or few types of muscle groups. I am 95% sure that it's some sort of brain disorder... there are many types of brain tumors that could be causing this. I know that you said she had an MRI, but maybe they missed something the first time around. I would definitiley consult with a neurologist about your daughter until you can get to the bottom of this. It may also be a combination of things... perhaps she has a heart defect and a neurological disorder. I wish I could offer you a definitve diagnosis or give better advice, but I can't. I'm very sorry about your daughter. Hopefully you will find a doc who can diagnose her and get her the proper treatment. Good luck. If they do find out what's wrong with her, send me an e-mail and let me know... I'm very curious as to what could be causing all these symptoms.
