I have just had my 12 week scan and everything was fine the baby looks good and has a heart beat which is great and I have a delivery date of 1st November which is also great and I also had blood tests for iron, blood type, HIV and Syphillis ( I dont know if I spelt that right) they didnt tell me at the appointment when I would find out the results of these tests I was just wondering when I would find out?? my scan and bloods were taken 5 days ago and I havent heard anything yet would they make me wait untl my next scan and antenatal appointment in June ??Thanksin addition....I have been with my husband for 6 years.....I have not slept with anyone else since I have been with him so I would hope that I would be ok

Sometimes if there's no problem they won't bother telling you the results. You can always call or ask at an appointment what your results were.

If you had any bad results they'd contact you straight away.I remember getting the results on paper but dont think it was more then 2 weeks

It takes 7-10 days to get the results back, I would call and Chase the results up after 7 days.

Ring the hospital!

Normally if everything is fine they wont contact you. No news is good news. If you are curious call them they should have had the results in a few days.

If it was your doctor that requested these results, then he or she may have the results. You will have to call them to find out. If there is nothing to worry about, your doctor will just let you know that at your next appointment. However, if there was something to worry about, you would have already received a call from the doctor's office.So just relax and enjoy being pregnant........

when I had all my blood work done they didn't tell me until I came in for my next appt. when they went over paper work of my health

the results usually take a few days to be sent in and received back. if you havent heard after 7 days, call the doctors office and ask. most of the time, if the results are satisfactory to the doctor, they wont call you... they wait til the next appointment. but if something were wrong, they would definitely call you as soon as the results come in.so for now, dont stress. sometimes, no news is good news.
